Newcastle United have been seen to be putting in plans to ensure if they lose a key player they have an eligible replacement to come in and ensure the team continues to grow and improve. The Dutch media that Newcastle are watching 5’6″ Ajax star Vurnon Anita, and the defensive midfielder is said to be a replacement if Cheick Tiote leaves the club this summer. He is the latest of players Newcastle have been reported to be interested in as Newcastle scouts have been ever present in the Eredivisie this season with even Alan Pardew making appearances at some of their bigger games. Newcastle find themselves scouting abroad in France more and more due to the inflated price of average players in the English league and seems a more sensible aproach to building a team which can compete at the highest level.
