Well what a shock. The passing of Gary Speed is a truly horrible happening as one of the great men of the game passes there will be no doubt a great sadness across Great Britain from Newcastle to Liverpool to Leeds to Bolton to Wales and beyond. A great player and a gentleman. I remember meeting him after a Newcastle game in 2001 and he was a man of wise words. He looked as if he was turning Wales around and I hope that progression continues in his honor. Will Welsh stars such as Craig Bellamy play today or will they be to emotionally distress because he was not just a colleague he was their friend. He was respected everywhere he went and will forever be in our hearts n behalf of Newcastle United. A man who had so much more to give only being 42 years of age and is such a tragic day for the English game. Respect must be showed to Speeds family at this hard time especially in the unfortunate circumstances he has been mooted by the Telegraph to have died under. I feel tributes must be made to this true legend of the modern game. He will forever be one of my favorite players.
