Premier League Wigan vs Bolton

Bolton took only a few minuted to get in front as Nigel Reo-Coker  who fired home from 5 yards from a Chris Eagles delivery. Eagles then almost then got one of his own with an outside of the boot shot saved well by ex-Bolton goalkeeper Al-Habsi. Wigan, known for their wonder goals then scored an absolute cracker through Diame leaving Jaaskeleinan stood like a statue. David N’gog then just as the half time whistle was about to go managed to grab his first goal since joining from Liverpool. He was well picked out by Bolton captain Kevin Davies. Wigan 1 Bolton 2 not looking good for Wigan.

Wigan however started the second half with real purpose, some flair most defiently provided by Hugo Rodallega. Boyata who scored past Chelsea at the Reebok two weeks ago shouldh ave saw his name on the scoresheet again however directed his free header wide.

Boyata then won a penalty when Mike Dean judged Wigan captain Gary Caldwell pushed him. Bolton captain then looked to take advantage but Al Habsi pulled of a terrific save makign a great svae to keep Wigan in the game. Anoter penalty missed in a season they seem to becming harder to score.

Moses looked sharp as Wigan tryed to score n equalizer however in the end Chris Eagles then punished them at the other end with a wonderfully balanced finish. Bolton have now climbed off the bottom and Wigan are once again in trouble but they have been there and got the T-Shirt and everytime i doubt them they come back so lets jsut see.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle:

“The biggest thing today was having conceded the equaliser from a wonder strike it would have been easy for this group to feel sorry for themselves.

“But we knuckled down from start to finish and I thought we were magnificent.”

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez:

“I feel really disappointed because we gifted Bolton the three points. The hardest thing is to score goals and we made it very easy for them.

“Apart from that I saw my team working very hard and if we had gone in level at half-time we could have won the game.”
